One
prize per person. The "Belmar Cam Summer 2002 Sweepstakes"
(the "Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00:00 AM Eastern Time
on Tuesday March 01, 2002 and ends at 11:59:59 PM Eastern
Time on Friday, September 3rd 2002.
1. ELIGIBILITY: The Sweepstakes is open only to
legal residents living in the United States who are
at least twenty-one years of age and older as of January
30, 2002. Employees, officers and directors of The Belmar
Cam Inc., Lazworld.com Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising, promotion, fulfillment and marketing agencies,
their immediate families (and those living in their
same households) are not eligible to participate in
the Sweepstakes. By entering the Sweepstakes, participants
agree to release, discharge and hold harmless The Belmar
Cam, Lazworld.com Inc., their affiliates, subsidiaries,
retailers, agencies and their respective officers, directors,
employees and agents, from any damages which may arise
out of participation in the Sweepstakes or out of the
acceptance, use, misuse or possession of prizes. By
participating, you agree to these Official Rules and
to the decisions of the judges (The Belmar Cam) which
are final and binding in all aspects. Void where prohibited
by law, rule or regulation. All Federal, State and local
laws and regulations apply.
2. HOW TO ENTER: The ""Belmar Cam Summer
Sweepstakes 2002" is an random drawing, sponsored
by The Belmar Cam and Djais. Online participants
may enter up to once per day and up to twenty (40) times
over the course of the Sweepstakes. You must connect
to the Internet through an Internet access provider.
To enter online, you must enter your e-mail address,
first and last name, complete address, City, State,
Zip Code, gender, birthday, and telephone number in
the online entry for. After entering correct information
in all the fields and clicking on the Submit button,
you will immediately be entered in a drawing to win
the Grand Prize offered in the Sweepstakes. Entries
made by Internet will be deemed made by the authorized
account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time
of entry. Entrants using electronic entry must be the
registered subscriber of the email account from which
the entry is made. The authorized account holder is
deemed as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail
address by an Internet access provider, on line service
provider or other organization that is responsible for
assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated
with the submitted e-mail address. If the potentially
winning entry is an Internet or other computer entry,
potential winner must provide The Belmar Cam with proof
that the potential winner is the authorized account
holder of the e-mail address associated with the potentially
winning entry. Entries that are incomplete, illegible
or corrupted are void and will not be accepted. Entries
generated by robots or scripts are considered to be
a direct violation of sweepstakes policy and will result
in immediate disqualification of any and all associated
entries.
3. SWEEPSTAKES DRAWING AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS:
Winner will be selected in an random drawing from
all eligible entries received from the Internet portion
of the Sweepstakes and the alternative means of entry.
The Sweepstakes Grand Prize drawings will be held on
or about April 1st, May 1, 2002, June 1st 2002 and July
1st. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any non-cash
prize with a prize of equal or greater value for prizes
that become unavailable. Potential Winner will have
(10) days from receipt of winning notification to claim
his/her prize by completing, signing and then returning
the prize Affidavit of Eligibility Release, Liability
Release and, where lawful, Publicity Release forms,
or an alternate winner will be selected.
Guest
of grand prize winner must sign and return a liability
and publicity release prior to receiving Prizes. Non-compliance
or, if a selected potential winner cannot be contacted,
is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to return
the completed and executed Affidavits and Releases,
as required, or if the Prize Notification or prize is
returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will
be selected. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission
for The Belmar Cam to use winner's name and likeness
for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation,
unless otherwise prohibited by law. Should there be
a dispute regarding who may have submitted an online
entry, that entry will be deemed to have been made by
the authorized holder of the e-mail account at the time
the entry was made. All decisions of the judges shall
be binding and final.
4. SWEEPSTAKES PRIZES: Prize may not be upgraded
nor is it redeemable for cash. Any personal expenses
as well as and federal, state and local taxes on the
prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Prize is non-transferable, and may not be given, bartered
or sold. Other restrictions may apply. Winners of the
Grand Prize
in the ""Belmar Cam Summer Sweepstakes 2002"
drawing will be notified by electronic mail (e-mail)
and confirmed by telephone. Odds of winning in the drawing
depend on the number of eligible entries received.
The
Grand Prizes of the Sweepstakes are: A: (1) Belmar Beach
Pass valid for 2002 summer season. The approximate value
of each prize is $40.00. B: (25) Tee Shirts. The approximate
value of each prize is $24.99 each. (25) Vip Cards.
There is no cash value for this prize.
5. WINNERS LIST: To receive a list of winners,
send a self addressed stamped envelope within 30 days
of the date of each drawing to: The Belmar Cam ""Belmar
Cam Summer Sweepstakes 2002" Winners List Request,
P.O. Box 630, Belmar, NJ 07719 USA. Winners will be
posted on the Belmar cam Web site. Winners will also
be posted on this web page http://www.belmarcam.com/sweeps02/winners02.html
6. DISCLAIMER: Sponsor is not responsible for
lost, interrupted or unavailable network server or other
connections, miscommunications, failed telephone or
computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure,
jumbled, scrambled or misdirected transmissions, or
other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or
electronic. Persons found tampering with or abusing
any aspect of this Sweepstakes, as solely determined
by the judges, will be disqualified. If disqualified
for any of the above abuses, Sponsor reserves the right
to terminate player's eligibility to participate in
the Sweepstakes. In the event any portion of this Sweepstakes
is compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human
intervention or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor
which, in the sole opinion of the sponsor, corrupts,
or impairs the administration, security, fairness or
proper play of the Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the
right at its sole discretion to suspend or terminate
the Internet portion of the Sweepstakes, but may continue
with the free, alternate means of entry portion. The
prize will then be awarded, in a random drawing from
all entries received prior to such a suspension. Sponsor
is not responsible for any problem with Sweepstakes
entry generated by computer hardware or software malfunction,
error or failure. Sponsor's sole responsibility for
any irregular Sweepstakes entry is replacement with
another entry. If a potential winning entry is made
by Internet or other computer entry, that potential
winner may be required to provide The Belmar Cam with
proof that the potential winner is the authorized account
holder of the electronic mail address associated with
the potential winning entry.
7. TAX INFORMATION: All taxes and fees on prizes
won are the sole responsibility of the winner.
